Welcome to 195 (Grimsby) Squadron

Welcome to the 195 (Grimsby) Squadron, Air Training Corps Site. This site has been created and is maintained by the cadets and staff of the squadron.

The Air Training Corps is a voluntary youth organisation supported by the Royal Air Force. With almost 40,000 members, aged from 12 to 20 years, the ATC is the world's largest youth air training organisation. Although the "Air Cadets" is not a recruiting organisation, 41% of Officer and 51% of all Aircrew (including pilots, navigators, air electronics operators, air engineers and air loadmasters) recruited by the Royal Air Force are ex-air cadets. Ex-cadets excel in basic training and remain in the Service longer than their colleagues who have not been in the cadet forces.

Grimsby has its own squadron located just outside the Grimsby town centre and is one of over 900 different squadrons located in the UK.

The squadron does a host of different activities, click the Activities Link on the main menu to find out more.

Please enjoy your visit to our site and if you have any comments please email contactus@grimsbyaircadets.co.uk
